My name is Arshvir, and I was the recipient of the Youth Transforming Society Scholarship this Wednesday, June 6. I wanted to personally send my thanks and appreciation for your kind generosity in awarding me the scholarship.
I was honoured to receive this award and am grateful for the opportunities it will provide me. As a first-generation Canadian, I strongly believe in the power of education and knowledge. With the help of this scholarship, I have a foundation to get closer to my educational goals. I am planning to attend Simon Fraser University for the Bachelor of Science program in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. I want to become a clinical researcher to help find cures for neurodegenerative conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s diseases. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to attend Simon Fraser University with this scholarship.
Receiving support from people like you means a lot to me and inspires me to continue doing my best. I can assure you that I will make the best use out of this award. Once again, thank you!
